Course Listing

Registration is "open" in the sense that students may enroll at any time of the year. Once enrolled, students have up to six months to complete three (3) credit-hour courses and up to twelve months to complete six (6) credit-hour courses. There are courses available in Arts, English, Civil Engineering, Economics, Political Science, Psychology, Nursing, Technology, Management and Entrepreneurship, Business, Philosophy, Forestry, Family Violence Issues, and Statistics. Additional courses are under development.

Note to Full Time Students

If you are a current full time student here at UNB, it is possible for you to add online courses to your regular course load with the appropriate approval; UNB wants all full-time students to attend the classroom version of specific courses but will permit you to add an online course provided you have a valid reason you are unable to attend the class.

The required approval form is available here:

Permission to Register for Full-time UNB Students Form - (Adobe Acrobat - PDF format 32 kb)

If you obtain this approval, the course tuition will then be covered by your full-time fees but you would pay the $100 per-course technology fee associated with UNB Online courses.

Drop the signed form off to our office here on the 2nd floor of the Wu Centre along with your technology fee payment of $100 and we will get you started in your course shortly after. You can fax this approval form to us if you wish. Fax number: 506-453-3572

If you wish to add an online course to the fall term, you must do so on or before October 1; if you are adding a course to the winter term, you must do so on or before February 1.

At present, the following courses are available for study through cel.unb.ca/online. Since courses are continually being developed, it is possible that additional courses may be available besides those listed here. Individuals may wish to inquire further about this by contacting the College of Extended Learning.

By clicking on the Course No. you can obtain more information.

Effective January 1, 2010, the following fees apply:
3 credit hour courses: $683.00
6 credit hour courses: $1266.00
